Ir Michael Kwok is a practicing engineer with over 38 years of project experience. He joined Arup in 1986 and has worked in Hong Kong, London, Beijing and Shanghai. He is currently Chairman of Asia Pacific Council at Arup. Ir. Kwok has led the engineering design of many prestigious and award-winning projects in Hong Kong and in the mainland, including HKUST Academic Building, HKIA Terminal 1, Beijing Capital International Airport T3, CCTV Headquarter Building, National Stadium. Ir. Kwok is a strong promoter in design excellence, innovation and engineering advancement, with particular expertise in seismic engineering and tall building design.
