Ir Dr Poon specializes in electrical and mechanical engineering as applied to building services, environmental engineering, lifts and escalators, energy and building management and security systems. He has over 50 years of experience and is the Chairman of a group of engineering companies employing 3,000 staff.He takes special interests in training of young people which includes recruitment annually of 40 university graduates and 40 apprentices. His professional interests cover energy, sustainable development and climate change.
