Profile

Ir the Honourable Chan has over 40 years’ of extensive professional engineering experience in the power industry in Hong Kong and in the Mainland, overseeing design, operation, maintenance, construction, commissioning, asset management, strategic planning, risk and sustainability management. He has made significant contributions to the energy transition towards carbon neutrality targets in Hong Kong and in the Mainland by investing and managing a large portfolio of zero carbon energy projects such as wind power, solar PV, hydropower and nuclear energy, etc. He has been actively participating in public services covering engineering, infrastructure development, environment, technology, healthcare, education, business sectors and community works.
