Profile

Ir Professor Hau specializes in high power laser cutting, welding and surface engineering. He has rich industrial and research experiences in this advanced materials processing technology. He has published over 200 journal papers in this area and provided many consultancy services to the industry in laser applications and materials engineering. He obtained the Geneva Innovation gold award for his On-line monitoring system for high speed laser spot welding.
