Professor Paul K Chu is a leading international figure in surface functionalization and engineering of functional materials and industrial components using plasma-based and related techniques. In addition to being a fellow of the APS, AVS, MRS, IEEE, HKAES, and HKIE, he has received more than 20 research awards and honors. He is a highly cited researcher (Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science) and a highly cited author (UK Royal Society of Chemistry).
