Dr Tsang has been active in telecommunications industry research and development for 20 years, spanning from 2G to 5G and beyond. She played a pivotal role in ASTRI’s 4G and 5G Core developments, which have been adopted across diverse industries such as railways, coal mines, and telecommunications research, as well as in commercial deployments. These solutions have been implemented by over 20 companies locally, nationally, and internationally, many of which are industry giants and operators. Her research aligns with 3GPP telecommunications standard development and aims to lay a solid foundation for commercialization, ultimately enabling a smarter and more connected world.
